Broken pieces on the floor,
remains of a scattered heart,
you and me, slammed the door,
our worlds falling apart
Love is a binding tool
and yet it is not forever
it’s not a golden rule
but I will care for you… forever and ever.
Taxation and VAT of e-commerce:
In these articles online, the authors explain the key points about taxation for companies doing business as e-commerce and setting the correct value of VAT. This is part of my research on how to set up the VAT in whatever the e-commerce solution of open source I choose to use, as well as looking at the tax issues surrounding the an e-shop.
The current VAT applied in items sold in the UK is 20%.
These are the links to the information in more detail.
I had a meeting with my clients today to discuss some of the basics regarding the project.
I explained them what was the outline for the project in terms of the different stages it will take:
We also revised the aims of the project
- Favour Open Source
- Merchandise and Fine Art products
- Adding more people in the future
- A solution which does not demand tech knowledge
We talked about possible domain names. These are some of the names that came out from the meeting:
- Arts and collective, arts and group, indie art, clustered collective. artSEXclusive (I immediately spotted the problem with this domain)
I agreed to come out with a series of suggestions to discuss over the phone or by email.
I also talked about the web hosting plans available and what I felt was the best option for the size of the project. I recommended using Bigwetfish because I feel they offer good value for money and they are reliable.
